A Press Release is a file that you create that can be sent to journalists to promote something going on in your business.  It's a great way of creating a buzz about your business and more importantly get featured in newspapers, magazines and even TV.


A journalist will only pay attention to a press release if it is a story that they consider news worthy.  In other words a story that the papers readers will find interesting.  Therefore before you do anything with a press release the most important thing to work out is what story you are telling


This is the first of six courses by Asha Clearwater all about creating the perfect press release.  In this course you will learn the importance of the story and what you should and shouldn't consider.
