Well yes, it can be!  However if you want to effectively run a business and do it successfully there is certain information you need to know and you should have this information to hand at all times.  You would be amazed at the amount of business owners that don't know this basic information

WHAT INFORMATION ARE YOU ON ABOUT

Simple stuff like how often you should meet your accountant.  There are business owners who never meet with their accountant and this is a really bad thing.  Another question is what software should you be using.  Obviously in Maximise Success we suggest using Xero as your accountancy software but you might want to.  Finally you need to know your numbers.  We are not talking about turnover and profit.  Other numbers that you literally cannot run your business without knowing.

WHAT DO YOU LEARN

You will learn everything you need to know about basic accountancy.  Our accounting expert Paul Thompson will guide you through everything you need to learn.  Bottom line, if you don't know how important accountancy is for your business you are in the right place.

By automating and systemising the day to day bookkeeping function using cloud software such as Xero, Receipt Bank, Chaser and Go Cardless and subsequently freeing up their time, his clients are able to concentrate on what they do best, running a successful and profitable business. Paul loves working closely with his clients to help them achieve a greater understanding of their business financials, getting them to focus on their personal goals and then implementing strategies into the business so that they can achieve their personal goals. We work together on this by way of quarterly or monthly "growth and support" meetings, goal setting and implementation plans, as well as undertaking regular accountability sessions to keep them on track.Outside of business Paul is married to the lovely Emma Thompson who is a teacher. They have 3 wonderful children and 2 dogs (Chester and Poppy) who are both rescue dogs.Paul is also a mad keen Wolverhampton Wanderers fan and is a season ticket holder in the North Bank with his son.
